Live at House Of Rock

I had the opportunity to shoot a series of bands last night at The House of Rock, in which I was invited by J-Boozer the Worlds Drunkest Band www.theworldsdrunkestband.com This is the best and funniest bands that I've ever seen. The other bands on the bill where Six By Silver and Remedy. All the bands gave a great show especially Six By Silver These guys are great and you will be hearing a lot of them in the future. www.sixbysilver.com Well as you can see the audience gave a great show also, these two ladies were hotter than hell. Keep your ears open for some really kick ass news from me concerning one of the bands, but until I've everything worked out and verified I'm not going to jinx it. I will post a couple of the band shots later today as I have yet to get any sleep.

I had to get this one.

I was visiting some folks the other night and while they were showing us their house, I saw a scene I've been looking for a while. This is a Photo Painting of the original photograph.

Christmas In the city

Today was what I consider perfect, even though we had 3 inches of snow and 20 degree temps. I had a blast out playing in my power chair. The one I had last winter got stuck in 1/2 of slush. This picture is of Maryland Plaza and the Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis' Central West End.

Another from the forest fire.

This was within 1/4 mile imagine what this looked like from 2 miles. It was impressive to say the least.

Turkey always makes me tired!

I think this says it all.

Wen Nov 23 Forest Fire in Corning Arkansas

I took a trip to Arkansas for thanksgiving and going through Corning Ark I observed an intense forest fire. I was looking for something to shot because it was sunset and was extremely sweet. Well it lit this fires smoke up remarkably. I got permission to go back onto the property and photographed the firefighters and the fire.

A Great Day For Photography

While most would think that a cold overcast day would not be great for photography, it really is. With the subdued light it makes for great shots, especially for black and white photography. Here are two of today's better shots.

Bye Bye Busch

Today I got the opportunity to got down to Busch Stadium to see how far the demolition is coming. Well needless to say after eleven days they have almost half of the old stadium down. Although with the rapid demolition problems arose, a section of the old stadium came crashing down onto the new stadium. Thankfully it was only exposed girders which shouldn't take to long to repair.

Central West End 2005

This poster image is a view out of my apartment window and is probably one of the most photographed subjects in my work next to the Arch. I think I've shot it a least once every day that I've lived in my apartment.

Dropping the Ball

Well today I got to watch the most unremarkable, anticlimactic end of an era. I went into downtown St. Louis to watch the wreaking ball being dropped on Busch Memorial Stadium. I think it was more fun watching a crane lower a Johnny on the spot than it was watching what I could see of the start of demolition. I am posting what I could see now and I'm sorry to say there isn't much to see.

Fall at the Arch

Today I spent a couple hours at the Gateway Arch taking Fall shots, but was almost dashed by last evenings storm blowing most of of the leaves down. But I had been down at the park 3 times this week photographing the colors.

Shot last night during storm

We had one hell of a storm move through St. Louis last night and these are a couple of my favorites
